All a flutter - 3D lashes - the verdict

Lashes are a girl’s best friend – one flutter and the world is your oyster. So when Beautycouture.ie HQ heard about the amazing 3D Audrey Hepburn Sweep lashes at Margarita Beauty Salon we had to send out intrepid reporter Frankie to see what all the fuss is about. I am one of those girls who can admit that I use tonnes of mascara in a bid to get the perfect long lashes, without it, I feel utterly naked. That was until I met my new best friends Margarita from Margarita Beauty Salon in Sutton.
If, like me, you absolutely never leave the house sans mascara, then 3D lashes are a must-try treatment for you. This beauty treatment has instant and dramatic results – do it once and you may have no idea how you ever managed before.
Here's my lashes before the treatment -
3D lashes are state of the art semi-permanent lash extensions that give longer, thicker, very natural looking lashes. They not only look natural, but they last up to a month before you need to return for infill’s. One lash is applied at a time over your own existing lashes. The entire lash application takes roughly an hour and is very comfortable and relaxing, so much so Margarita wrapped me up in some nice warm snug blankets and I nearly fell asleep. I felt right at home!
Unlike the strip false lashes I used to wear on the weekends, these lashes are weightless, most of the time I forget I am wearing them.
The lashes are water proof, so you can shower, swim, exercise and even cry (hopefully not!) At the beginning it’s a little hard to get used to not rubbing your eyes, it’s best not to use any oil-based makeup remover and definitely not a good idea to sleep face down, but on the plus side, no mascara is needed! I now wake up to full, long, flirty lashes every day.
