Beauty Must Have - Chanel Bombay Express Collection

Calling all beauty junkies this is one you won’t want to miss! Chanel’s new limited edition Bombay Express Collection 2012.

In short, it’s a must have collection that will have your beauty sense literally drooling for more!

Evocative of a lush, sumptuous vision of India, the collection conjures up scents of jasmine, princesses, opulent gold jewellery, stunning beauty and all things exotic!

Indian women know how to enhance their noble almond-shaped eyes, which they accentuate with kohl and dark eyeshadows. Peter Philips, Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup, intensifies the proportions of this iconic makeup to give it a universal character.

Expect graphic makeup with saturated colour blocks that stretches out from the corner of the eye while the rest of the face focuses on gold and light.

 

The centrepiece and must have of the collection is a gorge, evanescent golden powder to dab onto cheekbones and eyelids. Route Des Indes De Chanel aims to recreate an embossed motif of a rare fabric, a piece of bronze brocade from an Indian-influenced collection created by Gabrielle Chanel in the 1960s.  A stroke of blush warms the skin with the hint of an elegant and sunny earth tone.

For the lips there’s a fab neutral, yet luminous gold colour, while nails are catered for with Diwali a fab shade mixing pale gold and silver which recalls the traditional festival of lights, for which it was named.

This stunning collection will be available from the 27th of June only in the Brown Thomas Boutique in Dublin. All products are limited edition, so get yer skates on lassies!
