Voya - Summer Kisses

While the winter weather can play havoc with your pouters, the summer can still be a bit of a strain on the lips… and if it’s an Irish summer of sunny one day, then windy the next, your lips can totally suffer.
My own were a case in point recently… really dry and even a chap in the very corner which was totally gank, not to mention uber unfair for summer time. But for the last week I have been using Voya’s new ‘Balmelicious’ Lip Balm €12 (sounds like a very Beautycouture.ie moniker eh?) A dreamy mix of Voya’s organic seaweed extracts, vitamin E as well as Soil Association certified oils of sweet almond, beeswax, wheat germ, candelilla and sunflower, it’s a sumptuously smooth treat for the lips.
I tried the vanilla & peppermint, with a bit of trepidation because I really didn’t want to have a full on lip-tingling scenario and thankfully it didn’t. The peppermint is just a hint of mint and not enough to make your lips start doing the fandango. It worked really well on the dryness and left my lips very smooth. A definite must to help keep your pout in Angie Jolie-esque condition! Plus we hear the packaging is totally bio-degradable too! Apparently, outer casing is made with corn-starch and when disposed of in the compost heap, will break down within just a few weeks! Good for the lips and for the environment! What’s not to like?
