Garnier B.B - The Future of Skincare?

News just in Beauty Junkies. Garnier have just launched their brand new Miracle Skin Perfector Daily All-in-One B.B Cream… no its not some Big Brother inspired face cream, instead it actually sounds like it could be a total multi-tasking miracle.
The B.B cream is an idea that comes from Asia and we all know how fab Asian womens skin is! The story goes something like this… In the 70s a dermatologist in Germany came up with Blemish Balm. Apparently, it had exceptional qualities to calm and soothe skin and helped to cover redness after dermatological treatments such as facial peels. Imported into South Korea, BB Creams created a huge buzz, attracting the attention of major actresses who started using them and were quick to reveal their new beauty secret.
Today BB Creams are uber popular in Asia because they provide a highly sought after and specific cosmetic result: they offer a “grey” shade to de-saturate the colour of the complexion to whiten and brighten Asian skin tones.
Inspired by this product proposition, Garnier has now come up with its own BB Cream for the European market which supposedly creates an immediately ‘perfected’, even skin tone and boosted glow. Hmmm… it sounds promising indeed and anything that combines top skincare with flawless coverage has the potential to be huge!
But can it really deliver? Can we really moisturise, protect, unify and brighten our skin all in one go? The jury is out on that, but with benefits like hyaluronic acid and glycerine, as well as mineral pigments, SPF15, antioxidant vitamin C and stimulating caffeine all for €14.99, we hope it does what it promises!
