Maria McGrail - Emerging Photograhic Talent

As part of our special series on up and coming Irish talent, this week we are focussing on Maria McGrail. If you missed out first part, then tut, tut, but like out Graham used to say here’s a quick reminder.
Maria or Mia as she is also known... loving the whole Pulp Fiction/Uma Thurman attitude by the way, is an up and coming fashion photographer. Fashion in Mia’s blood as her mum was a fashion designer. Mia has recently been published in Irish Tatler and is on the cusp of achieving her dreams. We were all very impressed with her portfolio in Beautycouture.ie HQ and the Tatler picture below shows buckets of talent. We love the clever use of light and how it brings out the vintage clothing theme of the piece.
As well as fashion Mia also likes to capture wildlife, fine art and landscape. ‘I like combining Fashion, Art and Photography and create something really beautiful’, she says. ‘It doesn’t always have to be a perfect shot and that’s what makes photography so interesting and challenging. I love using natural light and I use both digital and film.’
