Fancy a Fix-Harvey Nics!!!

July was another Month full of fashion that saw the end of the sales and the beginning of the Autumn/Winter 12 collections filtering into the stores.

With that saw another Press Day where us lucky people get invited along to preview all the clothes and trends that have arrived and will be coming into the store over the coming weeks.

This time it was the turn of Harvey Nichols to preview their Autumn/Winter 2012 collections.

Now anybody who knows me will know I'm a big fan of Harvey Nichols.

Beautycouture.ie were invited along to their personal shopping suite where their Personal Shopper Elizabeth gave us an individual tour of the collections.

Here’s what stood out for me.

 

Well first off Rachel Gilbert immediately caught my eye as did Jovani, both new to Harvey Nichols this season and both famed for their eye catching heavily embellished evening wear.

 

Next up was Beulah the label brought to prominence by the Middleton sisters primarily Kate who have spotted there fab jewel toned dresses on a number of occasions. If you like Issa you will love Beulah.

 

 

The next thing to stop me in my tracks was a jewellery case filled with one of my all-time favourite costume jewellers Kenneth Jay Lane (another new addition to The Harvey Nichols Style Family) A lot of Kenneth's costume jewellery is inspired by iconic pieces of real jewellery from the likes of Cartier so if its a standout cuff, necklace or pair of earrings your after look no further than this.

In terms of understated casual wear the likes of Vince, DVF and T by Alexander Wang have it nailed this season with jersey T-shirts and dresses and loose waterfall style cardis and various types of leggings.

Mc Q by Alexander Mc Queen also caught my eye perfect for injecting a bit of rock chic influence to your existing wardrobe.

 

M by Missioni had the most gorgeous new collection with their traditional prints fashioned into a variety of new styles.

All in all Harvey Nichols is well worth a visit as just one of their pieces can really transform your wardrobe and bring in bang up to date for Autumn Winter 2010.

And as you know I am always trying to promote Irish Designer so it is great to see Harvey Nichols have introduced Irish Label Fee G to the Store.
